Rocky Balboa opens today and it's getting mostly good reviews. You should go see it. Here's a very short clip from the training montage. It's really cool. When we saw it, the whole theater went nuts, and when Stallone was on Conan and showed the full clip, the crowd cheered so loud that you couldn't hear anyhting in the clip. Here's the first part...

Meeting Rocky
I met Stallone! It was awesome! Rob and I got to see Rocky 6 in a small theater with about 40-50 people. The movie is really good. It's a lot like the first two Rocky's, and a ton better than Rocky 5. Everyone seemed to really like it, and we all got really pumped when the obligatory training sequence started. The fight was really cool, too, and Stallone is still one strong mutha.
After the movie, we all went to a small meeting room in a hotel downtown and got to meet Stallone and do some Q&A. Rob and I got front row seats. Stallone came in and we both got to shake his enormous (though soft as a silk pillow) hand. He was very nice and friendly, and spoke openly about how God has been working in his life over the last few years. He seemed very genuine. Rob and I are still freaking out and can't believe we met Rocky. Being obsessed for our entire lives has finally paid off.
Here are some pictures and a short video Rob shot with his digital still camera.

And here's the video. This is my lame attempt at shaking Stallone's hand after the Q&A. Keep in mind, though, I had already shaken his hand earlier. But watch how fast my hand goes up and down. So lame...

Rocky
My brother and I get to see Rocky Balboa on Thursday. This is a huge deal. The movie doesn't come out until December 22, but he got 2 tickets for a special screening here in Dallas. And we just found out that after we see Rock Balboa, we get to see Rocky Balboa. The actual Rocky Balboa - Sly himself. I can't believe we'll get to see and (hopefully) meet Stallone. To say the least, I'm freaking out. No bladder control.
